ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Monday, December 19th, 2011

It sounds so easy: Always believe in yourself.

You’ve probably heard those words your entire life but when the whole world seems to be telling you that you can’t do it…whatever it is you’re trying to do…believing in yourself isn’t as easy as it may appear.

Do you have a goal or dream that always seems to be eluding you? Do you wake up every morning and think, “This is the day I’m going to make it big” only to find that by 10:00 your motivation is gone and you’re still in your cubicle with mounds of paperwork beckoning your name?

That sure defined me for a while. Don’t get me wrong I still work full-time (I’m just a few very short years from a pension and I don’t want to pass up another source of permanent income) but it was and is the belief in myself that keeps me going. It’s my belief that I can do what I want, when I want, and with whom I want and I don’t need anyone’s permission to do it.

It wasn’t always like that, though.

So what changed?

How did I and how do you all of a sudden believe in yourself?

You might not want to hear this but it doesn’t normally happen all of a sudden. That’s right, it takes attention and focus; it takes effort to begin seeing the world and yourself in a different light. That doesn’t mean its gruesome work and you’re going to hate it– in fact, you’ll probably enjoy it– but consistent daily effort is required.

Remember above when I said the entire world seems to tell you that you can’t do this or you can’t do that? Those words were actually programmed into our minds.

As a child, we were allowed to have an imagination and we believed we could do anything. BUT, as we grew older, parents, teachers, friends, neighbors, clergy (and the list goes on) all taught us that life is tough; we aren’t “those” people with money; you can’t become famous. You get the idea.

Each and every day your dreams would slowly dissipate and those words, “always believe in yourself” became a distant memory.

About three years ago, I was in south Florida training to be a certified LifeSuccess Consultant and business partner of Bob Proctor. The wonderful Mary Morrissey was one of the speakers there that week and she taught me something very valuable and I want you to listen very carefully to what she taught me. It’s just one sentence:

If you don’t always believe in yourself, would you at least believe that I believe in you?

Pretty powerful, isn’t it? Let me believe in you until you are able to believe in yourself.

Look, at one point I didn’t believe in myself either. I was on the verge of bankruptcy (probably should have filed but didn’t) and wondered how I was going to pay for gasoline to get me to and from work ; and at one point I even moved back home to live with my parents but I dug down deep inside and found just an inkling of belief. You can, too.

I want you to know that you are not alone. I want you to know that your dreams really can come true and I would love to help you in any way I can, whether it’s through earning multiple streams of income or coaching and mentoring you to achieve other life goals.

Just remember those simple words: ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Happy Mother’s Day To All Network Marketers

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you! Whether or not you are a mother, you all have/had one (right?) so today is a day to celebrate. Without mom’s where would we be? Truly. Where would we be?

Some of you may be thinking that you didn’t have a good mom or you current relationship is strained but I submit that regardless of your relationship, it’s a day to celebrate. You are where you are today because of your mother, in some way shape or form. If you’re reading this post today, it means that you have come to the point in you life where you realize that love, abundance, creation, and personal growth are all there is…so celebrate.

Celebrate your child making you a bookmark that says “mom” but had to make the “m” with an “E” turned sideways and a “0″ for an “o” because her class ran out of the right letters (yes, that was one of the gifts from my daughter).

Celebrate all the hugs and kisses coming your way today, whether in person or across the miles.

Celebrate your friends who are mothers because they, too, deserve the recognition.

Celebrate the fact that you are in the most wonderful industry there is: internet marketing. You get to decide when you want to work, where you want to work, who you want to work with, how much time you want to spend with your family, and what you’re worth.

Take just a few minutes out of your day today to reflect on just what Mother’s Day means to you. It means the world to me.

In loving memory of my mother, December 11, 1932-October 24, 2005.

What’s Happening Now?

Sunday, April 25th, 2010

Well, I think the dust has settled and I’ve got my blog successfully transferred to a new hosting company. It was WAY more complicated than I thought it would be and it took a lot of techie help from a good friend of mine. I was also trying to update the pictures of me in the header but that didn’t come out as well so I left it.

Just for the record, the pictures are of me and Paul Hutsey, accountability coach extraordinaire; me and Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels; and me and Bob Burg, author of The Go-Giver and an incredible motivational speaker. I was trying to add a picture of me and Mike Dillard taken at an event in Houston this past January but…

So, to catch up, I’ve been busy with CarbonCopy Pro/WealthMasters International as well as continuing to facilitate my mastermind group on Saturday mornings. The group discussion revolves around Bob Proctor’s You Were Born Rich book. If you’re interested in joining the next one, please let me know. I’d love to have you join me.

I’ve also started a different meditation technique called Holosync by Centerpointe. Have you heard of it? If you want the calmness of mind and an opportunity to once and for all clear yourself of negative thinking that could be holding you back in your business and/or your personal life, I highly recommend it. I am not an affiliate so I make NO money from recommending it. I just think it’s an incredible program that allows you to go into the alpha, theta, and delta states regardless of your (ok, my) mind chatter. The technology will put you into those states automatically. Pretty cool.

If you’ve followed me for any time you know that I am a student and business partner of Bob Proctor. The man is simply a genius when it comes to teaching how the mind works and how to use that knowledge to create your life on your terms and no one else’s.

Now that I’m just five short weeks from retiring from my day job, I’m going to pick up my efforts to teaching his material to as many people as I can. No, I won’t be giving up my network and internet marketing efforts. In fact, his material fits very nicely into achieving massive success. It’s worked wonders for me.

If you are a member of my team, you get coached and mentored for FREE just for being on my team. If you’re not on my team, I will be offering individual and group training for anyone who desires to learn the most life-changing material ever presented. And I don’t make that statement lightly. If you’ve not been treated to learning about the “stickperson”, just wait. Once you hear about it you won’t stop. You’ll want to hear more and more. The more you learn, the more you want to learn. It’s almost addictive–in a good way, of course.

Contact me today if you’re interested in participating in my FREE mastermind group or in any of my Bob Proctor trainings. And, as always, I’m always looking for great leadership to join me at http://www.SharonBoggs.com

Next time, I’ll be delving into expecting abundance. Talk with you then.
