ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

It sounds so easy: Always believe in yourself.

You’ve probably heard those words your entire life but when the whole world seems to be telling you that you can’t do it…whatever it is you’re trying to do…believing in yourself isn’t as easy as it may appear.

Do you have a goal or dream that always seems to be eluding you? Do you wake up every morning and think, “This is the day I’m going to make it big” only to find that by 10:00 your motivation is gone and you’re still in your cubicle with mounds of paperwork beckoning your name?

That sure defined me for a while. Don’t get me wrong I still work full-time (I’m just a few very short years from a pension and I don’t want to pass up another source of permanent income) but it was and is the belief in myself that keeps me going. It’s my belief that I can do what I want, when I want, and with whom I want and I don’t need anyone’s permission to do it.

It wasn’t always like that, though.

So what changed?

How did I and how do you all of a sudden believe in yourself?

You might not want to hear this but it doesn’t normally happen all of a sudden. That’s right, it takes attention and focus; it takes effort to begin seeing the world and yourself in a different light. That doesn’t mean its gruesome work and you’re going to hate it– in fact, you’ll probably enjoy it– but consistent daily effort is required.

Remember above when I said the entire world seems to tell you that you can’t do this or you can’t do that? Those words were actually programmed into our minds.

As a child, we were allowed to have an imagination and we believed we could do anything. BUT, as we grew older, parents, teachers, friends, neighbors, clergy (and the list goes on) all taught us that life is tough; we aren’t “those” people with money; you can’t become famous. You get the idea.

Each and every day your dreams would slowly dissipate and those words, “always believe in yourself” became a distant memory.

About three years ago, I was in south Florida training to be a certified LifeSuccess Consultant and business partner of Bob Proctor. The wonderful Mary Morrissey was one of the speakers there that week and she taught me something very valuable and I want you to listen very carefully to what she taught me. It’s just one sentence:

If you don’t always believe in yourself, would you at least believe that I believe in you?

Pretty powerful, isn’t it? Let me believe in you until you are able to believe in yourself.

Look, at one point I didn’t believe in myself either. I was on the verge of bankruptcy (probably should have filed but didn’t) and wondered how I was going to pay for gasoline to get me to and from work ; and at one point I even moved back home to live with my parents but I dug down deep inside and found just an inkling of belief. You can, too.

I want you to know that you are not alone. I want you to know that your dreams really can come true and I would love to help you in any way I can, whether it’s through earning multiple streams of income or coaching and mentoring you to achieve other life goals.

Just remember those simple words: ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

The Importance of Multiple Streams of Income

In today’s economy, can you imagine what would happen if the sole breadwinner in your family lost his or her job? Because of the fragility of having just one main stream of income, multiple streams are both popular and highly recommended!

But what does ‘streams of income’ mean? An income stream is some form of cash flow that comes toward you for products you’ve created or services you’ve offered. Working at a job and getting paid for it is a stream of income. A writer produces a book, a product, which is a stream of income being generated by that product.

Multiple streams of income in everyday households are becoming more popular because of the vulnerability of having just one stream. For example, if one stream suddenly dries up – you lose your job, or your business fails – then you have another stream as backup and you aren’t completely broke!

Businesses that rely on and earn all their profits from a single product or service are more likely to experience economic ups and downs, making that service or product less profitable in the long run. To avoid this, today’s businesses use multiple streams of income to provide safety to their business and stop it from running into loss.

On the other hand, having multiple products or services to provide to consumers gives you the option of offering your customers or clients more choices. Take a water company for example. They earn their revenue many different ways: they sell bottled water or offer other water purification options, including faucet filters or larger, more developed filtering systems that offer clean, safe water to an entire household or business.

Yet another advantage of multiple streams of income is that when the economy becomes stable, you can use a couple of streams to pay specific bills, save them for retirement or use them to pay off debts! By having multiple streams of income, your savings funds will increase and these all add up to a better life during retirement. You’ll be able to save up for that yacht or luxurious trip to Italy that you’ve always dreamed of!

Developing multiple streams of income is not difficult, and this makes it even more popular in today’s world. Some ideas for multiple streams of income include:

1. Investing in real estate – this requires initial cash at the beginning, but the potential is enormous.
2. Running online stores such as an eBay store
3. Freelance writing
4. Home businesses
5. Website designing/graphic artistry, if you have the skills. You can pay for a few courses to learn how to use the equipment and software but after that, you can use your skills to generate money.
6. Making and selling products – people have earned money by simply knitting wool sweaters and selling them! Why can’t you?

The economy of today’s world is probably the most unstable we have ever seen. This stresses the absolute need for multiple income streams. They are the new economy and the only way to survive the current economic downturns!

Overcoming Being Overwhelmed With Information Overload!

The wild, wild world of the Internet can drive you crazy with that the tons of information overload! That’s what it’s meant to do, therefore there will be all kinds of information scattered all over the place. Your job here is to gather the information you do want and filter out the rest.

It’s pretty simple once you know what it is that you want. So, in case you’ve already gone online and faced overwhelming amount of information, don’t take it to heart. Relax; take out a pen, notepad and start organizing yourself by making a list of what are the important things you have to do first.

FOCUS!!

Yes, that is very important for an internet marketer because once you type in something into a search engine you will receive an overwhelming amount of information. To prevent that you need to focus on the things that you want.

When you’ve made a list of what you want to do, you can start on creating your niche. What is it that you as an internet marketer can provide a solution for or if you will be marketing a product? For this step you have to a lot of research and you also have to ask yourself what things you would like to spend time on. You have to explore your potential at something judging by the amount of experience, skills and knowledge you have in that area. While creating a nice for yourself, you have to look at the long-term goal, which is that you will be looked upon as an ‘expert’ at that particular, something.

Once you’ve focused and created a niche in the world in internet marketing for yourself you can now swim further into the sea and explore the internet. Have a look at the demand at the moment of time or something that you feel is missing which you can provide. Look for what people search for on the internet and what are the products and services that they actually want.

There are so many people out there who are doing the same thing you are doing so how do you know who to take help from? Take help from that person who you can understand and who is able to help you on every step in making you a better internet marketer. Also, it matters a lot to be talking and taking advice from someone who matches your level of understanding and intellect. Especially, those who are beginners in the world of internet marketing need to be told things on basic levels, from scratch basically. All the information that you are getting on the internet is not of importance so don’t let it scare you away. Don’t be overwhelmed by the overload of information on internet marketing. It’s really not that difficult once you research thoroughly on the topic and filter out unimportant information. Only retain the information that is of importance to you.

It is important that you understand the various paths in internet marketing like affiliate marketing, blogging, writing articles etc and you know exactly what they are. Once you understand the concept you will find that there are thousands of websites and programs you can join as a writer, affiliate marketer etc and you can also work for more than one at one time. You will be offered a commission on the work that you do which depends on your work and productivity. Likewise, for example in tiered structure you will be given a commission on the products or services you sell but you will also be paid for any new product or service that you introduce, so basically the opportunities are limitless.

A lot of beginner internet marketers think that they don’t need professional help and can handle it on their own. Ok, so you CAN do it, I’m not saying it’s not possible, but with the amount of people starting this business and taking professional help, the competition is building up. At this point it is advisable that instead of being overwhelmed by all the information on the internet you could get some professional help and coaching so when you step into it you are ready to face the hundreds of other internet marketers with a new-found confidence! You really can earn a lot of money by investing none or very little only if you gather the right kind of information, focus on it, build your business once you’ve gained vast knowledge on it and of course letting professional coaches you guide you through the difficulties.

Thinking of setting up an online business? To begin with, your primary obligation should be to work on your personal behavior coupled with a positive attitude. Why so?
